Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the Full Stack Developer (.NET / Web) position advertised on Seek. I am a Computer Science and Software Engineering graduate with hands-on experience in full-stack web development, database design, and frontend architecture. I am currently completing a postgraduate ICT Professional Project at the University of Southern Queensland, where I served as the frontend developer and database contributor on a team that designed and delivered a production-ready web platform from scratch in eight weeks.

What drew me to this role is the description of the environment: small team, no unnecessary management, direct ownership of features end-to-end. That matches exactly how I prefer to work. In the DataCare Connect project, I did not wait to be assigned tasks — I identified what was needed from requirements audits, designed my own solutions, and integrated them with teammates’ work independently. I built the educator directory, the RTO listing page, database schema migrations, and conducted mobile responsiveness QA across the entire platform. When I fell behind in one sprint due to concurrent deadlines, I flagged it in the daily stand-up and recovered fully in the following sprint. That kind of ownership and honesty is how I work.

My background includes C# and Visual Studio from an earlier Restaurant Management System project, full-stack web work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python, and in my most recent project, React, Node.js, Express, and MySQL in a professional three-tier architecture. I am eager to grow my .NET and WPF skills further in a role where I can contribute meaningfully from day one.
